Mumbai: BMC awards J Kumar-RSP JV a ₹1,330 crore contract for constructing an elevated road corridor on the Eastern Freeway, connecting Orange Gate to Grant Road. The project aims to reduce traffic snarls and facilitate movement to Mumbai Coastal Road and other major thoroughfares. Estimated completion time is 3.5 years, expected to cut travel time from 50-60 minutes to 5-6 minutes.
