Bluewater Council approved plans to create a dog park at the Stanley Community Centre in Varna, Ontario, over the facility's septic bed. The Bayfield People and Canine Community (PACC) will be responsible for establishing the off-leash dog park under a three-year agreement, covering installation, signage, and monitoring. The proposal was initially suggested in 2023; however, the south ball diamond was recommended for closure in the municipality's recreation master plan.
