The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, deployed to the Mediterranean for nearly eight months, have left the region and are now returning to the US. The group's deployment began in response to Iran's attempted seizures of commercial ships and continued amid the Middle East's escalating unrest.
