India and the US reaffirmed their strategic partnership in combating terrorism and enhancing regional security at the 20th US-India Counter Terrorism Joint Working Group meeting and the 6th Designations Dialogue. They emphasized the need for continuous efforts in countering terrorism to ensure global peace and prosperity. The US and India called for bringing to justice the perpetrators of the Mumbai and Pathankot attacks and concerted action against all terrorist groups, including UN-proscribed entities like al-Qaida, ISIS, LeT, and JeM.
