Iranian court seized US-owned oil cargo.
An Iranian court seized a US-owned oil cargo worth $50m in the Persian Gulf over a lawsuit filed by patients with a rare skin disease, epidermolysis bullosa (EB).
The patients claimed that US sanctions have prevented a Swedish company from selling essential medicines to Iran, causing physical and mental harm to them.
The court allowed authorities to unload the oil from the Marshall Islands-flagged Advantage Sweet tanker, which was seized a year ago.
