Colorado Springs firefighters contained a gas line fire after construction crews hit the line, preventing it from spreading to nearby homes. The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to the scene on Thornhill Drive and managed to clamp the line and extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported, and Colorado Springs Utilities is now working to repair the line.
