Akari Therapeutics and Peak Bio announced a merger agreement as equals in an all-stock deal, to form a combined company listed on Nasdaq as AKTX. Peak stockholders will receive Akari shares for their shares. Halper Sadeh LLC is investigating the merger to ensure fairness to Akari shareholders, as they are concerned about possible violations of federal securities laws and fiduciary duties.
