Slootman will be succeeded by Sridhar Ramaswamy as Snowflake's CEO. The Dutch business leader, 65, has amassed his fortune by leading Snowflake and ServiceNow Inc. through initial public offerings, and heading Data Domain's acquisition by EMC Corp.
