28-year-old security guard Bezhani Sarvar has been charged with terrorism offences for firing a gun and igniting a Molotov cocktail at Edmonton City Hall in January. Sarvar is accused of causing a lockdown at the city hall and is facing charges of counselling commission of a terrorism offence and possession of property for terrorist purposes, as well as nine other terrorism-related offences. No one was injured during the incident, and the suspect allegedly acted alone.
