A North Carolina man, Brandon Scott Lowe, 28, attempted to rob a convenience store in Bristol, Tennessee while a Sullivan County corrections officer was stopping for gas before work. The officer held Lowe at gunpoint as employees handcuffed him. Lowe faces charges of aggravated robbery, criminal impersonation, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
