Singapore's CCCS conditionally approves Air India-Vistara merger, addressing identified competition concerns.
Singapore's competition watchdog, CCCS, conditionally approves Air India-Vistara merger, a plan announced in Nov 2022 by Tata Group-owned Air India and its sister airline Vistara (a joint venture with Singapore Airlines). The merger seeks to create a dominant full-service airline in domestic and international markets. CCCS identified competition concerns in four routes but found proposals by parties to address issues as sufficient.
