Kebbi State in Nigeria plans to increase extension workers from 69 to 1,000 to boost agricultural productivity. The state has already raised the number to 650 and aims to use ICT, reintegrate retired agents, and implement initiatives like Quelea bird control, solar-powered irrigation pumps, and LNG for converted irrigation pumps. The government also launched the Kaura Agricultural Development and Growth Agenda with various partnerships.
