Ireland's services sector expanded at its fastest rate since September 2022 in February, with the AIB Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rising to 54.4 from 50.5 in January. The increase in activity was accompanied by rising price pressures, with input prices and charges rising at the fastest rates in 10 and 12 months respectively. The transport, tourism, and leisure sectors recorded the strongest input price inflation, while financial services continued to post the fastest rate of growth.
