Former Nigerian President Obasanjo urges African youth to use dialogue for conflict resolution.

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged African youth to focus on dialogue as a means to resolve conflicts on the continent. Speaking at a youth leadership symposium in Abeokuta with the theme "Opportunities for Peace: Roles of the Youths in Conflict Prevention in Africa," Obasanjo stated that efforts to inculcate a culture of peace and security in the youth must be intensified. He emphasized that dialogue, not violence, is the best way to address conflicts in Africa.
