George Heyman will not run in the fall provincial election.

British Columbia's Environment Minister George Heyman, serving since 2013, will not run in the upcoming fall provincial election. Heyman, a three-term legislature member, has introduced the NDP government's Clean BC climate and economic plan, which aims to reduce carbon emissions and develop a green economy. He has endorsed former Vancouver city councillor Andrea Reimer to seek the NDP nomination in his Vancouver-Fairview riding.
