British Airways introduces free in-flight messaging on WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, and Teams for 80% of its Heathrow fleet from April 3rd.

From April 3rd, British Airways will offer free in-flight messaging access on WhatsApp, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, and Teams for passengers on its Gatwick and over 80% of its Heathrow-based fleet. The remaining planes without Wi-Fi will be equipped by 2025. Passengers can use the free messaging service by registering with British Airways' loyalty scheme, with only one device per person allowed.
