BlackRock and Morgan Stanley investment funds acquire TC Energy's Portland Natural Gas Transmission System for $1.14bn.

BlackRock and Morgan Stanley investment funds have agreed to purchase TC Energy's Portland Natural Gas Transmission System for approximately $1.14bn. The deal includes the assumption of $250m in debt, with the aim of reducing TC Energy's long-term debt and funding investments. The Portland Natural Gas Transmission System consists of 295 miles of natural gas pipelines in northern New England and Atlantic Canada.
