BJP National President JP Nadda has resigned as Rajya Sabha MP from Himachal Pradesh, with his resignation accepted by the Rajya Sabha chairman. This move comes after he was elected unopposed to the Upper House from Gujarat. The BJP has released its first list of 195 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, including 47 youth candidates, 28 women candidates, 27 Scheduled Caste (SC) faces, 18 Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates, and 57 OBC/Backward Class nominees.
