Atlanta City Council member Keisha Sean Waites resigns to pursue Fulton County clerk's office. Waites previously served three terms in Georgia House of Representatives for District 60, and later ran for Congress in 2020. Her seat on the Atlanta City Council, representing all of Atlanta, was effective until Jan 2026. During her tenure, she served on transportation, public safety, and legal administration committees.
