Queen for a day, Priscilla factor fades in outback town.

In the remote Australian mining town of Broken Hill, known as the "spiritual home" of the Oscar-winning film, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the legacy of the film endures 30 years after its release. The town serves as a backdrop for the drag queens' journey across the outback. However, year-round tourism is stunted due to a disconnect between the perceptions of some and the reality of life for LGBTQI people living there, according to drag queen Shelita Buffet.
