28-year-old stolen Ferrari F512M worth $443,500, originally from Formula 1 legend Gerhard Berger, recovered by British police; investigation ongoing.

28-year-old stolen Ferrari F512M worth $443,500, originally belonging to Formula 1 legend Gerhard Berger, has been recovered by British police. The car disappeared during the 1995 San Marino Grand Prix in Imola, Italy. The vehicle was reported missing but not traced until January this year, when it was discovered in the UK. Ferrari contacted the police after purchasing checks revealed it was a stolen car. The car was apparently shipped to Japan soon after the theft, before being taken to the UK in 2023. No arrests have been made, and the investigation by the UK's Met Police is ongoing.
