357 State entities and 8,770 suppliers have enrolled in Zimbabwe's e-government procurement system, which was introduced in October last year. The system aims to enhance the state procurement process, plug loopholes, and reduce corruption in public procurement. Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Praz) reports that the system is advancing well, with supplier registration as the initial phase.
