Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have donated Rs 2,000 each to the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) party fund, urging others to contribute for "nation building". The BJP launched a donation campaign following the Supreme Court's strike-down of the Electoral Bonds scheme as unconstitutional. Both leaders encouraged contributions through the NaMo App.
