A person was stabbed on a light-rail train in St. Paul on Saturday night, with injuries that were not life-threatening. The incident occurred on the westbound Green Line near the intersection of University and Cromwell avenues. A suspect was quickly taken into custody, and charges are pending. Metro Transit has expanded its police presence on light rail and also deploys civilian agents to inspect fares, administer first aid, and monitor passenger behavior.
