12 months after taking office, NSW government has not yet established a Hunter Transition Authority, despite budgeting $5.2m for transition authorities in regions affected by the shift to renewables. The government has not set guidelines or funding mechanisms for the Hunter authority nor advertised for leadership positions. Labor promised the authority to "leverage the strengths of our region and ensure we remain a manufacturing and energy powerhouse."
