Linus Torvalds, Linux creator, confirms Linux 6.8 is back on track for release next week, featuring Intel In-Memory Analytics Accelerator driver support, Google Tensor silicon support, and CXL pooled memory standard improvements. Linux 6.8-rc7 is released, with potential final release on March 10th. If smooth, the final kernel will be used in Fedora 40 and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
