Montreal folk singer Allison Russell, recent Grammy winner, canceled or postponed some tour dates due to severe winter weather in Western Canada. Her tour bus slid off the road into a ditch during heavy snow, and she faced near-whiteout conditions on the roads, preventing her from attending shows in Saskatoon and potentially Hamilton, Ontario. Fellow tour artist Aysanabee also experienced difficulties due to the storm, which has caused a winter storm warning in southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
