4 dead, 21 injured, nursing home fire in Bedburg-Hau, Germany; cause under investigation.

A nursing home fire in western Germany has left four dead and at least 21 injured. The incident occurred in Bedburg-Hau, North Rhine-Westphalia state, early Monday, according to German news agency dpa. A firefighter and a police officer were also injured and taken to a hospital. In addition to those confirmed to be injured, 46 other residents were evacuated and were being examined for possible injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
