China's pork prices may rebound in the second half of the year as farmers cut production, according to Liu Yonghao, Chairman of New Hope Group, the country's largest animal feed maker. Farmers are reducing their hog herds, and demand may improve in the traditional peak season, resulting in higher pork prices. China's Agriculture Ministry has cut its sow herd target to 39 million from 41 million.
