50 acres of palm trees and pineapples worth N150m were destroyed by fire at Royal Farm in Akeredolu Village, Osu, Osun. The farm's founder, Rufus Jegede, started the farm in 2015 after retirement, contributing to food security and employing 40 workers. Before the incident, the farm produced 50 kegs of palm oil weekly and 500 tons of pineapples annually.
