62-year-old Beaumont resident, Betty Cooper, was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing East Lucas at Pine Burr on Saturday night. Cooper was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital but was later pronounced dead. The police are investigating the incident.
