36-year-old Isaiah J. Duckworth, a sex offender in Kansas's Douglas County Correctional Facility, has been convicted of attempting to traffic a makeshift weapon. On July 18, 2023, corrections officers found a sharpened eating utensil among his belongings. Duckworth was awaiting sentencing for two counts of aggravated sexual battery and faces 7-23 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections.
