A boy was shot in Arlington Heights, in the 2300 block of West Nichols Street, Cook County Sheriff's Office confirmed. Police found the child with a gunshot wound to his abdomen and transported him to a local hospital. The victim's age and condition are currently unknown, and Sheriff's police detectives are investigating the incident.
