A man was shot and wounded at a Canal Street bus stop in downtown New Orleans on Friday night (March 1). The victim, whose age and condition were not disclosed, was at a bus stop in the 1200 block of Canal Street around 10:28 pm when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been shot. The NOPD reported that the man sought hospital treatment, but no description of the alleged assailant was provided.
