Italian navy ship Duilio shot down a Yemeni Houthi drone in self-defense in the Red Sea.
An Italian navy ship, Duilio, shot down a drone flying towards it in the Red Sea on Saturday in a self-defense action, the defense ministry said. The drone had similar characteristics to those used in previous attacks by Yemen's Houthi militia, and was around 6 kilometers from the ship. This action follows the Italian Navy's efforts to protect trade routes from drone and missile attacks by Yemen's Houthi militia.
