Buffalo police officer hit by vehicle during suspect chase; officer treated, suspect at large.
A Buffalo police officer was struck by a vehicle while chasing a suspect on Fri night. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on the north side of the city. The officer was treated at the Erie County Medical Center and released. The suspect who was being pursued is still at large. It is unclear whether the vehicle that hit the officer was connected to the suspect.
