Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin has departed for a health check-up in the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The president is accompanied by his spouse Rebeka Sultana and officials from the Bangabhaban. His flight, Emirates Airlines' Flight No EK-585, took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:15 am on 3 March. Shahabuddin is expected to return to Bangladesh on 13 March.
