23-year-old inquest into the 1997 disappearance of Marion Barter, an Australian woman, has concluded she is deceased. Barter's daughter, Sally Leydon, had long disputed police claims that her mother left willingly. The inquest revealed that Barter's ex-lover, Willy Blum, was a conman who used at least 10 different aliases and held multiple passports. Barter's body has never been found.
