Clannad star Noel Duggan died after choking on a piece of garlic bread while out socialising with friends, an inquest has heard. The 73-year-old musician was dining with friends at Casadh an tSúgáin in Loughanure, West Donegal when he began to choke. Despite efforts from friends and paramedics, Duggan could not be saved. The tragic incident occurred on the evening of October 15, 2022.
