Wendell Pierce has joined the cast of James Gunn's upcoming "Superman" film, playing the role of Daily Planet editor-in-chief, Perry White. Pierce, known for his roles in "The Wire" and "Suits," joins the cast which includes David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The film is scheduled for release in July 2025.
