Community rallies for Vancouver firefighter's family after leg amputation due to flesh-eating disease during Hong Kong vacation. Christopher Won, an Assistant Chief at Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, experienced severe symptoms of necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating disease) and required an above-the-knee leg amputation. A fundraiser has been launched to support the affected family.
