Thailand plans to amend its surrogacy law, allowing foreign couples to use Thai surrogates under strict conditions.

Thailand plans to amend its surrogacy law to allow foreign couples to seek surrogacy services in the country. The new amendments would require foreign couples to be legally married, regardless of gender, and guarantee protection and rights for the child from surrogacy in their home country. Foreign couples can either bring their own surrogate or use a Thai surrogate, with both options needing to be vetted by a government committee.
