Scottish alternative rock band, The Jesus and Mary Chain, are releasing a new memoir titled "Never Understood: The Story of The Jesus and Mary Chain" on August 15. The book, co-written by brothers William and Jim Reid, explores the band's history spanning four decades, from their Scottish origins to their breakup in 1999 and subsequent reunion in 2007. The memoir also serves as a "love letter to the Scottish working-class family" and delves into the brothers' struggles with addiction, fame, and their relationship. Prior to the memoir's release, The Jesus and Mary Chain will share their first album in seven years, "Glasgow Eyes."
