Ontario's SIU investigates police shooting of man in Oakville home after stabbing reports.
Ontario's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is investigating after a man was allegedly shot and killed by police at a home in Oakville, Ontario. Halton Regional Police were called to the home west of Toronto shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday for reports of a stabbing. Two officers found a man inside the home and shot him, but the SIU has provided no details about their interactions.
