NASA discontinues $2B OSAM-1 satellite servicing project due to higher costs, delays, and lack of partner.

NASA has decided to discontinue a $2 billion project, On-orbit Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing 1 (OSAM-1), to test satellite servicing like fueling in space due to higher costs and schedule delays. The space agency cited "continued technical, cost, and schedule challenges, and a broader community evolution away from refueling unprepared spacecraft, which has led to a lack of a committed partner".
