A large tree crashed onto a home in Montgomery County, Maryland early Friday morning, causing significant damage and knocking out power to several nearby homes. The tree fell on a two-story house in the Wheaton Hills area, where two occupants were sleeping at the time but were not injured. The incident also pulled down power lines and caused a brief gas leak, which was quickly fixed.
