India's NDDB targets boosting milk production to one-third of global share by 2030.

India's National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) aims to increase milk production to one-third of the global production by 2030, according to its chairman Meenesh Shah. The focus areas for achieving this goal include breeding, nutrition, and health of animals, with the goal to increase productivity and contribute more to the nation's GDP. Currently, India accounts for 24% of the world's milk production.
