India's GST revenue collections increased by 12.5% year-on-year, reaching Rs 1,68,337 crore in February 2024. The growth was driven by a 13.9% rise in GST from domestic transactions and an 8.5% increase in GST from the import of goods. The cumulative gross GST revenue for April-February 2023-24 stands at Rs 18.40 lakh crore, a 11.7% increase from the corresponding period in FY 2022-23. This marks the fourth-highest monthly GST collection since the implementation of GST in July 2017.
