Florida Virtual School appeals trademark loss, facing accusations of being a "trademark bully".

The Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is appealing a trademark loss in which a judge called them a "trademark bully". The company initially sued K12 (now Stride) for trademark infringement over the use of "Florida Virtual Schooling" to describe their services, but settled in 2015. In 2020, FLVS filed another lawsuit over similar descriptive terms, drawing criticism for what some view as aggressive trademark enforcement.
