Billionaire Tilman Fertitta has purchased River Oaks District, a luxury open-air mall in Houston's wealthiest neighborhood for $450 million. The 14-acre complex includes high-end retail spaces like Hermes and Cartier, office space, and apartment units. This acquisition follows Fertitta's purchase of Montage Laguna Beach resort in late 2022 for $650 million. Fertitta's holdings in Houston also include a five-star hotel and a luxury car dealership.
